Diuretic plants

Diuretic plants help eliminate accumulated fluids and purify the urinary tract. One advantage is that they do not remove potassium.

The main ones are artichoke leaves, horsetail, burdock, borage leaves, watercress and dandelion. These plants help us cleanse our body of toxins and metabolic waste through increased urination.

As a result, we receive the following health benefits:
- Cleansing the skin of cellulite, acne, pimples, eczema and dermatitis.
- Elimination of metabolic waste that accumulates around the joints, thus alleviating pain and inflammation associated with gout, arthritis and rheumatism.
- Support of water balance in cells and organs.
- Cleaning impurities from the blood, which gives us a feeling of well-being.

It is important to clarify that diuretic plants should not be used for a long time as they can cause imbalances and dehydration. People with certain medical conditions shouldn't use them at all.

Purification plants

These plants cleanse the body of toxins, dead bacteria and urea that the body sometimes cannot remove naturally. Cleansing the body is a key point in restoring general health. Some depurative plants are artichoke leaves, holy thistle, green nettle, burdock and linden.

As with diuretic plants, cleansing plants should not be used for long and make sure to drink enough water to prevent dehydration.

Laxative plants

They are used to cleanse the intestines and to prevent fats from remaining in the intestine for a long time and being absorbed by the body. They should not be used for more than seven days in a row. The best are cascara sagrada, mallow and peach leaves.

Some laxative plants can be very strong on the body.

Sudorific plants

They decongest the liver, kidneys, lungs and lymphatic system. They not only help you lose weight but also fight acne. They are recommended to be taken in the morning. The recommended ones are burdock, willow, borage leaves, green anise.

Kelp for weight loss

We hear a lot about "miracle" plants and herbs for weight loss but not all of those plants are as good and effective as they are claimed. One plant that has proven to be an effective and natural "fat burner" is the seaweed known in English as kelp. Of course, even consuming this plant, you must take care of what you eat and exercise!

Kelp is high in antioxidants and iodine. In addition, it is believed to stimulate a hormone produced by the thyroid that increases metabolism and helps a person burn more calories.

This seaweed is found in health food stores and you can follow the instructions on the bottle. If you suffer from thyroid problems, high blood pressure or heart problems, consult your doctor before taking it.

You should always exercise caution and consult your doctor before starting any weight loss program and before consuming medicinal plants.
